Weekendtocht
Friday night: Welcome on board at 8pm with coffee and tea. You’ll be familiarized with the ship by our sailing team. Generally we’ll already start with a bit of sailing in the evening.
We’ll make an active sailing trip at the Lauwersmeer or the Waddensea, depending on your wishes. We can sail to Schiermonnikoog or Ameland, or choose to fall dry on the Engelsmanplaat. Sometimes we’ll partly sail in the dark, a special experience!
We’ll set sail to our departure port. By now everybody feels more familiar with the ship, so those who are interested can actively take part in the sailing by steering, handling the sails or navigate. At the end of the afternoon (5pm) we’ll disembark.
We use a ‘no worries rate’. Except for the food and the drinks, everything is included in our prices. Once you embark our ship, your bed is ready for you, all shipscosts are paid, and afterwards you don’t have to clean. Sailing without worries! You can sail a weekend trip with 24 people on the Willem Jacob.
Catering: You can choose to cook and use our well-equiped and spacious galley, or choose to let yourselves be catered by one of our ships cooks. If you want to book a tour with cook, there is a maximum of 22 persons joining your trip.
